About the Client
Bedrossian Music is a family-owned business that started in 1978 as a traditional music shop with a strong local presence. But as Amazon and big-box retailers changed the industry, Bedrossian Music faced a major challenge: adapt or shut down. With a commitment to schools and the new generation of young musicians to serve, they pivoted toward a digital-first rental model aimed at affordability.
Today, Bedrossian Music offers a nationwide rental and trade-in program for school districts, helping educators stretch their budgets and get quality instruments into students’ hands — affordably and efficiently.

The Challenge
Traditionally, Bedrossian Music relied on their retail location and showroom to drive sales — but with the rise of Amazon and same-day delivery, that edge had disappeared. The company’s underdeveloped rental program wasn’t being leveraged, and it was clear that continuing with the same model would eventually lead to closure. The business needed more than a refresh — it needed a fundamental shift.

We helped the client identify their underutilized rental service as a scalable opportunity.
