Bedrossian Music Marketing
and Design
From a small storefront to national, scalable success — Bedrossian Music reimagined its business model and built a digital-first rental platform that reaches schools across the nation. With strategy, automation, and subscription-based innovation, PSG Media helped unlock a recurring revenue stream that’s powering long-term growth in a changing industry.
About the Client
Bedrossian Music is a family-owned business that started in 1978 as a traditional music shop with a strong local presence. But as Amazon and big-box retailers changed the industry, Bedrossian Music faced a major challenge: adapt or shut down. With a commitment to schools and the new generation of young musicians to serve, they pivoted toward a digital-first rental model aimed at affordability.
Today, Bedrossian Music offers a nationwide rental and trade-in program for school districts, helping educators stretch their budgets and get quality instruments into students’ hands — affordably and efficiently.

About the Project
The Challenge
Traditionally, Bedrossian Music relied on their retail location and showroom to drive sales — but with the rise of Amazon and same-day delivery, that edge had disappeared. The company’s underdeveloped rental program wasn’t being leveraged, and it was clear that continuing with the same model would eventually lead to closure. The business needed more than a refresh — it needed a fundamental shift.
Objectives
-
Rebuild the business model around a rental-first strategy
-
Make rentals easy, fast, and reliable through automation
-
Create messaging tailored to parent and school partners
-
Position the brand for long-term national visibility and credibility
- Train the retail team on the new business model
Strategy
We helped the client identify their underutilized rental service as a scalable opportunity. Working closely with the owner, we mapped out a shift from physical storefront to digital-first rental program — built on automation, subscription billing, and school and parent focused messaging. We also supported internal team adoption and provided training to make the transition as seamless as possible.
Project Scope
-
Subscription and rental workflow planning
-
Messaging strategy and educator targeting
-
Automation setup consultation
-
Brand positioning for national scale
